Located on the western slope of a range of hills near Padavali, a village about 40 km from Gwalior, this archaeological site offers vistas beyond one’s imagination- a hundred-odd shrines with majestic towers rising into the sky, massive mounds of pillars with exquisite sculptures, panels of miniature friezes, carved architectural roof slabs and serrated amalakas that would have capped the shikaras and lots more waiting to be explored. Bateshwar is a 1300 year old Temple complex comprising of 200 ancient shrines surrounded by verdant woods all over. The restoration of this site was a story in itself as apart from being an epic task it involved negotiating with the Chambal dacoits who controlled the complex and ended with one of the dacoits being appointed as the guard to safeguard against theft of these valuable architectural pieces.  Read More....

Mehrangarh Fort is undoubtedly the main reason why people go to Jodhpur! But there is more to Jodhpur than this majestic fort. Discover the undiscovered areas of the old city of Jodhpur, led by a local expert who takes you on a journey of history, architecture, culture and traditions. This two hour heritage walk uncovers four areas of the old city – Bhrampuri-the settlement of the Brahmins, lined with temples, shrines, ponds and ancient wells; Nav Choukiya-a bustling square and a meeting point for people providing ample photo opportunities and for observing the local way of life; Sarafa Bazaar and Katla- the local bazaars where everything from household items, handicrafts, vegetables and jewelry is sold and where you can watch the artisans at work. The walk then takes you to the famous Clock Tower where you can sample the famous street foods from Jodhpur. Our 09th Founder’s Day

Coming straight from our heart, we strongly believe that charity begins at home! We are proud of our working association with numerous entities, in our desire to act as responsible tourism catalyst in bringing much required change in life of people and wildlife alike, thus living by our motto of doing well, and doing good. August 6th 2011, our 9th foundation day, was indeed a beautiful day as we celebrated it by engaging ourselves differently-spending time participating in special activities like donating blood, providing and serving food to orphans, contributing to a charitable cause, sponsoring a child on a personal level and interacting with under privileged children and giving them gifts.

Mehndi is a ceremonial art form which originated in ancient India. It is our traditional art of painting on the skin with henna, which beautifies the body, rejuvenates the spirit, and celebrates the joy of creativity and self-expression. The henna leaves are first dried, then pounded and sifted until they become a very fine powder, which is mixed with a bit of water and kneaded until it becomes a paste which is applied in beautiful patterns and designs on the hands and feet on different occasions. At the wedding, henna artwork additionally symbolizes the love between husband and wife, and the stain's long-lasting nature symbolizes the enduring nature of their love. More than just a temporary tattoo, mehndi offers us a way to connect with our centuries-old tradition.
